Black Friday Deals!!!

Are you looking for good deals?!?!

This Friday at your local Home Depot, is a 7' Nobel Fir Pre Lit Artificial Christmas Tree!! 1000 tips with 550 clear lights, for only $79 One day only!!

If you need a Christmas tree, this is the time to buy :)

If you're into arts and craft, Michaels has great sales from Wednesday - Friday, with loads of sales and coupons online. They also take coupons on your mobile phones! Many of the coupons are 25-50% off regular price items, with several coupons 20-30% off entire purchases including sales items (these are subjected to be used between 9:00am - noon)

Also, I recently stumbled upon awesome internet radio! I was searching for some Christmas tunes to listen to while I admire my Christmas tree. Check out Accuradio for a wide selection of genre and awesomeness! I am currently listening to channel "Boy Bands and Blondes" http://old.accuradio.com/player/slipstream/hitkast/101/ Britney Spears - Oops I did it again!!

Please train your employees better, Bonnie Brooks!

I love the Bay for its vast variety and selection of brands, and its occasional sales, but lately I have not appreciate their customer service!!!!

On two separate occasions I have had to deal with incompetent cashiers and misleading sale signs that indicated otherwise.

Tomorrow I will attempt to visit the Bay again for my price adjustment, hopefully I can find someone who is able to understand what the meaning of Price Adjustment is.

Anywho, I wrote a complaint email to The Bay, hoping they will train their staff and educate them better to service the customers' need.

Below is a letter to Bonnie!!

"I was at the bay twice this week, and both times I had very difficult experiences with the cashier at Surrey BC, and Metrotown Burnaby BC. First time at Surrey was the fact that sales signs indicated 40% off hudson room pyjama set, but at the cash register it came up only 30%. I went into the store 3 days later to find the items I had purchased were marked down, brought in receipt for price adjustment, but cashier was incompetent and could not complete the price adjustment, because she was simply scanning my receipt and refunding my original purchased price, telling me, "no the item is not on sale, look it's the same price." I am visiting the bay again tomorrow to find a different cashier and hopefully she will complete a correct price adjustment. I have been utterly frustrated with your services."

Neat stuff rocks.

I love love love organized items. Especially when it is neatly shelved in rows and rows of repetition! That is why cleaning out my closet tonight was such a frustration! Oh, how I long for a Pax wardrobe system. One day I will have my closet!!! It just eases my mind to know where to find that particular piece of clothing. It may seem like a small stress, but it really adds up when you are trying to get dressed every morning. One less stress is better than one more! I believe I would utterly enjoy it thoroughly. I can't express how much I love neat repetition!

I kind of like this idea: jam packed.

This would make me smile every morning!

I could look at this all day!

Yummy!

social stigma about dating younger/older people

We've all seen younger men/older women, or older women/younger men. Some of these couples are truly compatible and in love, yet we cannot help it but to raise an eyebrow when we see these couplings in public. I try not to judge, but society has made me a skeptic.

Older women & Younger men
The common conception/misconception about this type of relationship is that the woman is a cougar! Younger men are attracted to woman's confidence and her independence. And the older woman is attracted to the liveliness of younger man.

Older men & Younger women
The common conception/misconception about this type of relationship is that the woman is attracted to the man's financial standing and his maturity. Older men are perceived as attracted to beauty and youth.

We cannot completely veto these ideas, for these are some of the reason why people date outside their age group. I guess if you look deeper into this, it really has to do with maturity levels. I would like to introduce a theory: Age-maturity expectancy.

What is Age-maturity expectancy?
Society/ourselves/people we don't know, expects a person of a certain age to behave in a certain way that is considered "age appropriate". As a society, we understand that maturity has nothing to do with age, as everyone matures differently, but we cannot help but use age as a factor when determining someone's maturity level.

How does this age-maturity expectancy theory ties in with the age of our partners? When we are of a certain age group, we are expected to reach certain milestones, or else it would seem like we are not progressing in the book of life. When you're in your 20's you get a job, when you're in your 30's you start a family, and so forth. Yes, these milestones may seem traditional, and outdated, but the reality is that it becomes increasingly difficult to mark these milestones if you are outside of its age group. Nature did not intend for people to have children over a certain age, although humans are always pushing these boundaries, some things only nature knows best. Nowadays we have women over the age of 50 giving birth to babies, it is truly a miracle and a blessing, but it will be difficult to care for the infant when the health and bodily functions start to decline.

So, when we are still in the same type of relationships we were 10 years ago, still dating the same 16 year old, people may start to question your maturity level. As a ripen adolescent begins to venture into romantic relationships, it is first puppy love, then as he/she progresses, the relationships are deemed more meaningful, more soul fulfilling. Eventually the relationship is beyond puppy love, but more about caring for the partner, becoming somebody's pillar of life. I cannot deter or redefine the social stigma of dating someone who is significantly older/younger, but as long as both parties are on the same maturity platform, that's all it should matter! Impeccable compatibility!

Here are some celebrity couplings!

Taylor Swift and John Mayer who is 12 years her senior!

Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal who is 9 years her senior!

Taylor Swift and Taylor Launter who is 2 years her junior!

Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore who is 15 years his senior!

Bahaha, Taylor Swift is maturing real fast so she can write songs!

I love the smell of...

Yes, I love the smell of windex. Also some other house cleaning agent. Being a tad of a clean freak, at times, the smell of sterile products brings me comfort. I often find myself inhaling large breaths while cleaning the windows, walking past a freshly mopped area, and in the laundry room. If you watch TLC, you will notice a show called "my strange addictions" where odd addictions are taking over people's lives. A few episodes featured people who were addicted to eating household cleaners, and soap. I hope I do not become those crazy ladies! I do, however, enjoy smelling windex...it smells real good. I wonder if I am addicted. hahaha. I cleaned some windows today :)

Found: Tiny Pineapple

Look, I found a tiny pineapple and just had to take a photo with it.
-8 in Edmonton with no sign of snow so far. I ventured into The Bay today, only to find a small woman's sweater not the cotton type. Also found a girl size 14 navy Team Canada sweater..... I want RED or BLACK or WHITE. I guess I could have tried on the navy...but again! We walked around downtown with my sexy red mittens. I think the people were envious, as it is completely sold out here! My head hurts a little bit, not sure if it was from the loud festivities in the mall of chinese new year, or from the cold wind. Perhaps it's from a deprivation of quality sleep. Look at these cute children in them outfits! I want one too!

Conversation with paula.

So I am awake, because I had mild dull pain in my lower left abdominal pain. I googled my symptons. Turns out I probably had bad digestion and constipation. I'm sure you didn't need to and didn't want to learn that fact, but it's too late now, you've read it and acknowledge it! I need fibers like no tomorrow, and exercise! Wii fit sounds like exercise to me!!!!!! YES?!?!?! Anywho, back to conversation with paula, it started like so

Annie:
I only use my right index finger and my left index, middle, ring finger to type 95% of the words and left thumb for the space bar. And right pinky for shift. and right middle finger for period. my right thumb and ring finger are obsolete. wow....

Paula:

OMG I am the same!!!

I guess I don't have to be too careful when I chop away on the cutting board!!!

Night y'all.
