I am sweating rivers.

Oh my god. Heat wave has struck me good. Couldn't sleep at all last night. Not sure if it's the heat or it's the weird sore throat feeling. Anyway, today some people came to take some furniture off our hands, thus called for a perfect opportunity to clear out the garage of its junk. It took a good 3 hour to sort, pile, lift, and a lot of free manual labour to get it all organized and cleaned. I was sweating like a pig. Having no sleep the previous night, I am surprised that I was capable of exerting such energy and strength. So much junk in the garage, and half of it isn't even ours. WTF take your junk home or I'm gonna throw it out. Some people are just ridiculous. Why would they need to keep all this stuff, if it's collecting dust in my garage?!?! ANGER ANGER! Need to cool down, and eat lunch, and get some shut eye. :(

oh, but there's still so much I need to do today.....

ps. I have 10 million bruises on my legs. Where in the world did they come from.

I ♥ Vancouver

I am grateful to live in Vancouver. So over the weekend we went to English Bay and biked around the seawall. So many BC residents were also at the beach enjoying the wonderful sunshine. How great is it that we live in a city that has such nice weather! And Eric came back over the weekend, we went shopping around south Surrey to buy some more useless items! And now the sun is setting, skies are purple, and I am happy. :)

Here's a list of the stuff I bought today!

Kozy Shack tapioca pudding! I was craving it all day.
Kozh Shack creme caramel, which had gone bad and sour. GROSS. remind me never to shop at IGA marketplace ever again!
Kitkat bars and coffee crisp singles! 80 calories each
ipod docking station/alarm clock, so now I can wake up to my favorite tunes.
Moka flavoured yogurt. Kind of weird, but trying new things is cool.
Granola + chocolate cereal. hehe Chocolate for breakfast!

Overall it was a pretty good day for annie.

I hear rain

It is raining right now. I haven't heard raindrops on my rooftop like this in a while. I can't help but smile. As it's beginning to rain harder, all those memories of happy rainy days starts to jog my memory. Oh how I love rain in the summer. I suspect I just heard thunder! This is going to be an authentic afternoon thunder shower :)
When it rains hard like this, you just got to appreciate how mother nature always finds a way to cleanse this filthy world we live in. Oh rain on me, rain on me. Too bad we have guests coming over, or else I would be outside right now.

So I still went outside, and held my hands out to catch the rain. It's an amazing feeling. Cool drops of crystal rain rolling against my skin. The lightning is better than any fireworks. Muwhahaha I am too excited to tell you about it. I LOVE THUNDER SHOWERS.

I'd wear a dress everyday.

As long as I am in my dress, there's not a worry in the world. :)
I am going to make real effort to wear all the articles in my closet. Look at all the pretty dresses of summer time. Why don't we go shopping for more fun frocks.

Mushroom risotto

Mother happy birthday! Today was my mother's birthday, so I made dinner. Yummy healthy mushroom risotto with 3 kinds of mushrooms, whole grain rice, dash of carrot and sexy asparagus! YUM.

Good morning Vancouver

Awoke this morning at approximately 6am. Feeling much better than I did yesternight. I guess sometimes we forget to look forward and get stuck in a rut. Thanks for reminding me that there is so much beauty around me to appreciate. You make it easy. Thank you for bringing the sunshine back in my hair ♥ Today shall be an awesome day!

The curse of the first born

Why must the first born be utterly responsible, fix the vcr, fix the dvd, drive the second born, and do everything else. Why is it that parents expect you to care and hold the younger sibling's hand through everything, when the first born had to do everything on her own. Why must the first born be independent, figure everything out, and make life sooo easy for the younger sibling. I am not saying I won't lend a helping hand, I just don't understand why the first born had to go through everything on her own and learn, while the younger siblings just sit back and relax. Parents expect you to do everything for the young one because you went through it already. This way the younger one will never learn to do anything on his own. For god's sake. I am so sick of this. If he cannot care for himself at this age, I fear there may be no hope. I am not customer service, I am not technical support, I am not FAQ, I am not the how-to-people, I am not a chauffeur, I am not personal assistant, I am not a day planner, but I am cursed. Someone break this curse for me, or it's gonna break me.

Feeling extra nostalgic tonight

It was long ago, on a summery day much like today, me and cousin Angela would take our chalkboard erasers down to the playground, and hit it with a stick. Soon a whirl of chalk dust would surround us like clouds in the sky. We'd giggle and laugh and have chalk on our noses. It was a chore, but seems more like a game. Oh the simple things that made us happy.

How to ruin an appetite

When it's about time for dinner, you go to the supermarket, stare at aisles and aisles of overly sweetened snacks, deathly salted chips, and you decide to buy some chocolate to indulge a little before meal :)

Fruit and nut. succulent 220 calories. YES. I DO.

Here are the two kids I had to babysit for the past couple of weeks. They went back to Asia two weeks ago and I think I miss their noisy nonsensical conversations. Funny how people can come into your life for such a short period of time and make an impact.

I did 5 million things today.

It's been a while since I crossed off the old to-do list. Today I crossed off 5 million things. Making use of my sexy moleskin agenda, and google calender, and a to-do list, I am more organized than ever! I got up this morning and battled with incompatibility of mac os 10.5 and lexmark printer. It was hell. Anyway, I printed a lot of things, and sent out many emails, and made many phone calls. Sitting here in my dinning room is making me feel like some big shot CEO's secretary. hehe. I know I am lame blogging about my mundane day of work. I promise to blog about something more interesting next time. Until then! 5 million things :)

Hot summer days.

During these hot summer days, I would like to lie in the sun in a frock.

talking about emo

For those who have low EQ, like me, may sometimes be overtly emotional, or refrain from any emotional expressions. Yes, small things stress me out because I have no sense of focus or priority. I am in need of a sexy secretary. ha. How to stay organized, how to have self discipline, and the confidence to know everything will fall into place?

There's always a first for everything, and sometimes they are challenging.
I guess when it comes down to it, I simply need courage, believing that I can make it :)

It is the east, and Annie is the sun?

Honestly, sometimes I don't know what I am doing, or what I should be feeling. Many things are foreign to me. Perhaps a good sunrise will clear things up. Let's go watch the sun creep from the east, and shed those diminutive tears of glory.

welcome to July

Hi there. It is July. Must the summer pass so fast? The next two months is going to be crazy busy, and a new journey awaits me. Hopefully I don't go crazy or bald from pulling my hair out. And when September rolls around the corner, who will join me to explore Europe :) Please say you'll come with me. Don't want Annie to be roaming the streets alone now, do we? She might get abducted and sold into human trafficking as a sex slave. Please please come with her !!
