bye bye macbook

By now some of you may be aware that my macbook has fallen on the ground and unable to revive itself. Although I have dropped it numerous times in the past, this time it gave up on me! Due to my clumsy nature, I have not exactly been kind to my macbook. Serves me right. I suppose now I will be on the lookout for a new laptop..electronics are so dispensable. For the time being, I moved the office's desktop to my room, and enjoying the 22" monitor, although the dislike for PC computers still exist, because it has too many wires. My boyfriend has volunteered his old school IBM think pad for my daily usage of facebook/youtube/twitter/blog. These think pads are suppose to be super durable because this thing is like 8 years old. I used a thinkpad before when I worked at bestbuy, it was okay, it never crashed though...so I guess it's good.

I just spent the last half hour cleaning every key and the screen inside out. Now it looks super clean. I don't think I have a cleaning problem..

Anywho, time to get cracking on the new laptop ideas.. :)

Learn to love your age

The stigma of age for women has been an ongoing battle for women everywhere. Young girls growing up with media pressure of how a beautiful woman should look. What it means to be beautiful, to be thin, to be perfect. Many vulnerable ladies fall victim to the mass beauty marketing campaign.

Despite the pressure young girls faces these days, the aging ladies have it hard too. The media's constant obsession with youth and vitality, celebrities, public figures are looking younger than ever. They say 40 is the new 30, which really means if you're 40, people are expecting you to look like you're only 30! With all the advance surgical tweaks, it could take years off a woman's face.

Any skincare product for women over the age 25 has the word, anti-age, wrinkle, youth, written all over it! Do we really detest the idea of age progression? We know aging is inevitable, how can we fight it? With bottles and needles? I think I am finally becoming comfortable with myself to love myself and the aging part! I will learn to take care of my body and hoping not fall victim to plastic surgery. Age is just another number, no?

First real hot sunny day

So this weekend was one of the first summer days we have seen! A few of us decided to head down to Stanley Park for a bike ride! Here we are! Tandem biking is much easier than you think!



After biking we went to eat ra-ra-ra-ramen! Tasty! Overall it was a really good day with friends and sunshine! I love summer! And Strawberry Calpis from little bubble tea house!!! Tasty. After dinner we took a stroll down to English Bay, where Yna and I attempted at jumping photos and failed miserably. Here are some art near the water! I posed with it!

I am 14 years old

So, in the beginning I watched Twilight to see what all the fuss was all about. Then when New moon came out, it seemed more intriguing. I must confess, New moon was a lot better than Twilight, and now I am excited for Eclipse...june 30th! hahahaha.



Also I like Justin Bieber's music. Don't hate don't hate.

OMG. I love shoes. Thank goodness Manolo Blahnik brought back its classic collection for sale on Neiman Marcus. And what's even better, Neiman Marcus now ships to Canada! My, I can hear my wallet scream for help.
The d'Orsay, made famous by an episode of Sex and the City, when Carrie lost her shoes at a friend's party! Love it Love it.

Now they come in an array of colours! Black, pink, purple, silver, gold, and white!






oh and I long for a pair of Louboutins! How could you say no to those red soles?!
